Scotch Plains Play in the Park 2025

July marks Disability Pride Month. It is a time to celebrate the differently-abled and their contributions to our community. Scotch Plains Play in the Park 2025 with fun times for all.

Scotch Plains Play in the Park 2025

For one evening (from 6 pm to 8 pm), Jerseyland Park offers a space for all ages and abilities to play sports together. Choose from lawn games as well as pick-up sports games and activities. They also plan on offering sensory-friendly arts and crafts projects. Food trucks will be on hand to keep your belly full. And a cooling station keeps the heat at bay.

Scotch Plains Summer Concert

On Thursday, July 24th, Scotch Plains hosts a summer concert at the Alan A Augustine Village Green. Crystal Pepsi & the Zimas perform their versions of 90’s pop hits starting at 7 pm. Just bring lawn chairs from home so you can listen in comfort. If Mother Nature decides to be a party pooper, a rain date of Thursday, July 31st will go into effect.

Cranford Sidewalk Sale

Last week, Westfield hosted its sidewalk sale. This week, Cranford hosts theirs. In fact, it’s going on right now through Sunday. Several shops in the downtown area offer fantastic discounts for these few days only. Support our entrepreneurs and shop local.

Summer Sounds Downtown Cranford 2025

If you love music, visit downtown Cranford on any Thursday evening between now and the end of August. Summer Sounds Downtown Cranford continues its annual tradition of live music each and every week throughout the summer. Each week features a new artist/group for free at the Eastman Clock Plaza.

Sweet Sounds Downtown Westfield 2025

Finally, not to be outdone, Westfield hosts its own summer concert series: Sweet Sounds Downtown Westfield. Every Tuesday and Wednesday through the end of August, new musical artists/groups perform. On Tuesdays, guests enjoy two separate concerts. On Thursdays, only the Quimby Street stage fills up with music. All come free of charge.
