Scotch Plains Summer Concert Series 2026

Westfield and Cranford offer wonderful free outdoor concerts this summer. Now, Scotch Plains joins the fray. The Scotch Plains Summer Concert Series offers two nights of great live music from amazing local talent under the summer skies.

Scotch Plains Summer Concert Series 2026

On two special evenings in July, the Scotch Plains Summer Concert Series performs live concerts for the public. First up? R&B group Soul Seduction on July 9th. Second? Alden Street perform their versions of hits from the ’60s and ’70s on July 23rd. Both of these are Thursdays. Each concert takes place at the Alan M Augustine Village Green starting at 7 pm. If Mother Nature decides not to cooperate on the scheduled evening, organizers plan rain dates for July 16th and July 30th, respectively. Bring a lawn chair for your comfort. No official seating will be provided.

Sweet Sounds Downtown Westfield

Every Tuesday and Thursday beginning July 7th, Quimby Street and Foundation Park fill up with the sweet sounds of live music. Foundation Park only hosts musical guests on Tuesdays from 7 pm to 9 pm. Quimby Street opens up from 6 pm to 9 pm on both Tuesdays and Thursdays. Seating is not provided. So make sure you bring a lawn chair with you from home. And arrive early to find a good spot to watch the concert.

Summer Sounds Cranford

If you happen to be in Cranford on a Tuesday or Thursday through the end of August, you can also enjoy a free summer concert. Each of those nights brings a new musical artist/act to the Eastman Clock Plaza. Summer Sounds Cranford begins at 6 pm and ends at 8 pm twice each week. Laurie Vega Trio and Forget the Whale round out the final two concerts on Tuesday, August 25th, and Thursday, August 27th, respectively. Organizers suggest that you arrive early to find a good spot to watch the concert from. And make sure you bring your own lawn chairs from home so you can enjoy the live music in comfort.
