I hope everyone enjoyed Christmas Day with their loved ones. Do you take your decorations down the weekend after Christmas or do you wait until the new year? That’s only five days away, by the way. No matter which option you choose, you might want to sign up for a Westfield Christmas tree pick-up through the Westfield High School Music Program.

Westfield Christmas Tree Pick-Up
Music students at Westfield High School organize a tree pick-up every year to help them raise money for their concerts throughout the year. When you sign up for this convenient service, the students come to your home, pick up the tree, and take it to the Westfield Conservation Center for disposal. You simply need to leave it curbside by 8 am on Sunday, January 5th. And make sure that you take all lights, decorations, tinsel, and anything else off of the tree first. But you must register by December 27th to participate.
How to Register for Tree Pick-Up
The easiest way to register is to go online. Then, fill out your name, phone number, address, and how many trees you plan on placing at the curb for pick-up. The fee for service is $20 per tree. Then, send your check for the appropriate amount to ATTN: Chris Vitale, Westfield High School Music, 550 Dorian Rd, Westfield, NJ 07090. Payments must show a postmark of December 27, 2024 or else you will be removed from their list.
Westfield Conservation Center
If you miss Westfield High’s tree pick-up, you may bring your tree to the Westfield Conservation Center (1300 Lamberts Mill Rd) yourself during regular business hours. They stay open weekdays from 9 am to noon beginning on January 8th and then every Saturday from 9 am to 3 pm all January long. For more information, please call the office at (908) 789-4100 ext 4611.
Westfield Area Y’s Men’s Christmas Tree Lot
I personally want to thank everyone that visited our Christmas tree lot this year. We had another banner year. All money raised from our annual tree sales ends up directly benefitting our local community through the philanthropic work the Westfield Area Y’s Men’s Club provides throughout the year. So, not only did you get a great tree, but you also helped our local citizenry in the process. So, again. Thank you.
I am grateful to all who entrusted me with your life-changing real estate moves and to all who referred me to your family and friends!
