Sweet Sounds Downtown Westfield 2026

Now that the weather is warming up, it is time to enjoy the great outdoors. That includes into the evenings as well. In our neck of the woods, that means that it’s time for Sweet Sounds Downtown Westfield 2026.

Sweet Sounds Downtown Westfield 2026

Sweet Sounds held a kick-off event yesterday (June 18th) with live music, dancing, and more. But the first official concert of the season takes place on Tuesday, July 7th. In fact, every Tuesday includes two different musical acts performing on two different stages in Downtown Westfield. The Quimby Street stage hosts a new performance each week from 6 pm to 9 pm. Then, from 7 pm to 9 pm on the same night, a different act performs live at Foundation Park. Thursday shows take place on the Quimby Stage only from 6 pm to 9 pm. All concerts cost nothing to attend. However, organizers suggest that you bring a lawn chair to watch in comfort.

Scotch Plains Revolution 250

Next weekend, Scotch Plains celebrates our nation’s birthday and its role in our independence with a two-day celebration called Revolution 250. This event starts off on Friday, June 26th with a wreath-laying ceremony at the Scotch Plains Baptist Church followed by a parade the Town Hall. After opening a time capsule buried at Town Hall back in 1984, guests are invited to continue enjoying the day with food, music, and fun at the Alan M. Augustine Village Green.

On the following day (Saturday, June 27th), Revolution 250 continues at the Shady Rest Country Club. Starting at 5 pm, food trucks provide delicious meals for guests. of course, there will also be music in the background. Then, at dusk, fireworks fill the sky. No seating will be provided. So, make sure you bring a chair from home.

Summer Sounds Cranford 2026

Eastman Clock Plaza plays host to the musical event known as Summer Sounds Cranford. Starting at 6 pm every Tuesday and Thursday through the end of August, a different musical act or artist plays live at the plaza. Every concert comes free of charge. Just make sure you show up early to find a good spot and bring a chair or blanket with you.
