In the first quarter we saw motivated sellers bringing well prepared, tightly priced homes to market. Result: lean inventory, multiple offers, above list price sales, short market times. Now we have some more of the same, mixed with sellers swaggering onto the market less ready for prime time and with “you never know” pricing. So the inventory is swelling a little and price reductions are appearing on our daily updates.
It’s still the best market in years and affordability factors makes this the best opportunity in a generation for buying a home. Play on maestro!
