Giving Back to the Community- Donate Blood, Get a T-Shirt This Wednesday in Clark Sept 2

CLARK, NJ — A community blood drive will be held Wednesday, September 2, from 12:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Clark Volunteer Emergency Squad, located at 875 Raritan Road.

The drive is being held in memory of the September 11 attacks and ahead of the Labor Day weekend, when blood needs often increase due to accidents and emergencies.

Donors are encouraged to bring a friend, family member, or colleague. Eligible donors should be 17 to 75 years old, feel healthy, meet weight requirements, and bring a photo ID. Donors will receive a T-shirt while supplies last.

Those preparing to donate should eat well and drink plenty of fluids. Current eligibility guidelines are available through New Jersey Blood Services.

Every donation can help save lives. If you cannot donate, you can still support the mission through volunteering or financial contributions.
