We are already in the middle of April. Can you believe it? Since Spring has sprung, it only makes sense that we celebrate with the always popular Westfield Spring Fling.

Westfield Spring Fling 2026

Spring Fling features tons of fun activities for the entire family to enjoy. Carnival rides, face painting, carnival games like those you would find on the world-famous Atlantic City Boardwalk, henna art, and more. On top of all that, there will also be a Kids Zone to keep the little ones happy and entertained.

Additionally, this event features live music all day long. Also, food vendors provide a wide array of delicious cuisine to choose from. And for the adults, a beer garden quenches the heartiest of thirsts. Just make sure you bring a current photo ID. Otherwise, you will be turned away.

The Spring Fling takes place come rain or shine. So make sure you check the weather report before heading out. Dress appropriately.

Scotch Plains Freecycle Market

This weekend, celebrate Earth Day early at the Scotch Plains Freecycle Market at Jerseyland Park. From 11 am to 1 pm, hundreds of gently used items will be made available for shoppers to “buy”. However, no money exchanges hands here. The goal is to keep these items from ending up in our local landfills. So stop by to see what is available. One man’s trash really is another man’s treasure.
