Summertime usually means more time outdoors. For some, that is a backyard barbecue. For others, it might mean one of the free summer concerts Westfield offers. Still others may want to enjoy great shopping deals. Fortunately for those people, the Westfield Summer Sidewalk Sale 2026 takes place later this month.

Westfield Summer Sidewalk Sale 2026

Several businesses in the downtown area offer special deals for five days in July. Some of the best deals can be found on the racks out on the sidewalk. The deals run all day long from July 15th to July 19th.

Summer Sounds Cranford 2026

Cranford offers free concerts every Tuesday and Thursday between now and the end of August. Summer Sounds Cranford features a new musical act twice a week at Eastman Clock Plaza. This is strictly a BYOC event (bring your own chair) since none will be provided at the venue. Come enjoy a new act twice weekly throughout the summer in Cranford.

Sweet Sounds Downtown Westfield 2026

Not to be outdone, Westfield offers its own summer concert series. Sweet Sounds Downtown Westfield offers three different concerts each week. Foundation Park hosts a live concert every Tuesday evening from 7 pm to 9 pm beginning on July 7th. Quimby Street hosts concerts every Tuesday and Thursday from 6 pm to 9 pm. This is also a BYOC event. No seating will be provided for any of these concerts either. Make sure you check the weather report and bring a lawn chair with you whenever you decide to attend.

Scotch Plains Summer Concert Series 2026

Scotch Plain also gets into the spirit of free outdoor summer concerts this month. Soul Seduction performs their R&B music on July 9th (rain date of July 16th). Alden Street performs ’60s and ’70s hits with their own spin on July 23rd (rain date of July 30th). Please come to Alan M Augustine Village Green at 7 pm on either night…or both if you wish. It costs nothing to attend. Just make sure you bring a lawn chair from home so you can watch in comfort. Otherwise, you’ll be standing the entire time.
