It’s February in Cranford. That means that it’s time for the Cranford Fire and Ice event. It’s a great way to stay warm while staving off the cold winter weather.

Cranford Fire and Ice 2026

The “fire” of “Fire and Ice” refers to the hot wings contest. Several restaurants are competing to be King of the Wing. Guests of Fire and Ice can try the restaurants’ entries. You will help determine who wins the title. The “ice” portion refers to ice carving and sculptures. Dozens of local artists carve out ice live throughout the entire event. Guests also receive complimentary hot cocoa to stay warm and s’mores to keep your strength up while enjoying the festivities.

Westfield Library Jigsaw Puzzle Sale

The Friends of Westfield Library hosts its annual puzzle sale to help raise money for the Westfield Library. They are accepting donations of gently used jigsaw puzzles today and tomorrow until 4 pm at the library. Just make sure each puzzle includes all of its pieces. Then, tape the boxes so nothing gets lost. The sale itself takes place on February 24th and 25th.
