Build Westfield LEGO Edition
Now in its third year, Build Westfield wants children and their parents to remember what iconic Westfield buildings of today and yesteryear looked like. How? By using more than 60,000 LEGO bricks to recreate them in person. Teams choose which school, church, historical home, or municipal building they want to build. Then, each team’s entry goes on display upon completion for everyone to see.
Each team can contain up to four people for the build. It must include at least one adult. No one under six years old can participate. After a team finishes their recreation, they will receive a town map with the location of their actual building so that they can go see the real thing in person.
Registration for LEGO Build
Westfield residents pay $45 per team. Non-residents must pay $50 per team. Organizers limited the total amount of teams to 50 (one team per historical building). So, the earlier you register, the better your chances to participate in this fun event. To register, simply visit the Westfield NJ website here.
